The Red Energy Public Relations and Marketing Colorado Springs office is currently seeking a student interested in working with a national client for several months as we plan a citywide event in Colorado Springs that includes a 400+person recreational bike ride and festival to follow. Ideally the student would be available 10 hours per week, would attend regular meetings with our client and assist in the coordination of military, fire and police demos, sponsors, advertising and event logistics. The candidate should be available from May 2011 through September 10--the day of the event.
Students interested in the field of public relations, marketing, advertising, design, English, journalism, business and communications should apply. These are unpaid positions, but are eligible for university credit. Students would be reporting to the company president of this boutique firm for a mentor ship experience.
Students would gain hands-on experience in writing, photography, editing, research, event planning, media buying, business operations/management and client support. Interested students should send their resumes via email to Brittany Bermensolo, Brittany@RedEnergyPr.com, for review and to request an in-person interview. Students should have their own transportation and professional business attire is required.
